Welcome to Third Grade! I look forward to working with both you and your child this year. Third Grade serves as a bridge between your child's primary and intermediate years. They will learn many new and exciting things, and take more personal responsibility for their education!
I am ready to begin my 20th year of teaching at Q.E. I earned both my Bachelor and Master's Degrees in Elementary Education from Millersville University. This summer I earned my STEM Endorsement from Millersville University as well. Mr. Bear and I live in Lititz with our three sons, Matthew (15), Andrew (10), and Daniel (5.) We also have two cats, Charlie and Rosie and a dog, Holly. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, biking, and spending time with family and friends. My weekend often includes participating in a Boy Scout event or attending my sons' baseball or soccer games. |

Welcome to third grade! I am very excited to be working with you and your child this school year. Third grade is a transition year and we have a lot of fun things planned! A little bit about me, I grew up and currently reside in the Lancaster County area. I have a Bernese Mountain dog named Kona and your child will be hearing a lot about her this year! I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 from West Chester University with a minor in literacy. I also have a masters in Curriculum, Assessment, & Instructional Teaching with a STEM endorsement from Millersville University. Currently, I am continuing my education in online instruction.
This will be my sixth year teaching 3rd grade at Quarryville Elementary. I've also taught both 4th and 5th grade in other districts. When I am not teaching, I enjoy horseback riding. I have two horses and compete in horse shows around central Pennsylvania. I also enjoy traveling, boating, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to getting to know you and your student this upcoming school year! |
